I certainly don't want to dispute anybodies experience. I'm sure what you-all say is true, but I think it's only fair to post my experiences, especially since they're completely different from yours.
I print about 100 sq ft a week on my HP 130 with no problems at all. I feed a good deal of various kinds of roll paper from my home made roll holder. There is a bit of a technique required to feed roll paper, but once learned, my success rate is around 90 percent on the first try. The key is to be quick and bold, rather than slow and timid. I also regularly feed from the tray and front manual feed, including quite a bit of 13x19 HP Satin. I don't experience any feed problems. I'm still on my original print heads. I always use ink until the printer stops and I've never had a problem changing ink during the middle of a print. Last year I did something stupid and broke off a little plastic piece on the printing head. HP came to my studio quickly and fixed it for free, even though it was my fault. All in all I couldn't be happier.
