It all depends on the end use. If its for hanging on an office wall, 
I would care less about accurate colors, as long as they are 
pleasing, fantastic.  But that is not in the discussion.

I posted the question for accuracy in commercial market, prepress, 
advertising needs.

It is great that you and Mike get compliments from others, not hard 
to do with a 24 inch print with nice photography on it.

As you mention with a critical eye, and thats what I am doing here, 
is to see what is best for the end use, and budget, BTW, from what I 
understand AAdams gallery uses the HP for the prints.  This says very 
little...and it also says the printer is capable of very good prints.

Thank you again, and hope these post can get my concerns address, as 
only a few have chimed it...which I greatly appreciate, and hope 
their input can resolve my problems in the print.

As mentioned...I have samples of the problem, and can also send a 
file to test print your results, wich I am more than happy to pay for 
the print.
