Richard: I recently came to the same conclusion. I LOVE my DJ130 for color but couldn't quite bring myself to spend the $$$ for a B&W RIP. The B9180 seems to do a very good job on B&W (and 13 x 19 is large enough for me.) Factoring out the cost of the ink shipped with the 9180 makes the machine somewhere around $300.00. Hard to pass up at that price. Also if I am reading the specs properly this machine has the same print engine, heads and inks as the (larger and) much more expensive Z2100.
