Hi Everyone I am a professional photographer and I have the possibility of doing an outdoor exhibition of prints. I was wondering what the possibilities are for print using the z series of printers.
I usually get up to 20x30" prints as straight photographic prints. To get larger I know I can get a bureau to print direct onto foamex and they say their inks which are uv cured(not sure how significant this is) will stand up to many months of outdoor life without fade. As I am in Ireland which has a well deserved reputation for lots of 'soft' rain, I wondered what advice you could give. I guess the lightfastness and rainproofness are the main considerations. However printing on to vinyl/plastic which I could nail or screw to a wooden board would also be important. How thick or rigid a material can you get through the Z series?
