Well the printheads all look the same even the contacts are the same the only differebce I see are a series of tags located around the round plastic circumference where the ink printheaqd skip mates to the priter.
I am sure this is to force you to buy 6 dirrerent spare pritheads instead of just buying one or 2 to use as any spare when needed. Now of coarse it might be needed to flush out the color and to fill witht the right color but this should be easey. or at worst in my case I use a ton of black printheads so it would not take many pages to print to purge out say yellow and the black will over power the yellow? I wanted to trim off the tags as they do nothing but forcing you to use a yellow printhead in a yeallow slot. I would most likely be using a cyan or yellow printhead in the black printhead slot So just asking for folks who may have tried....but the tags prevented seating od the printhead, there still is luck Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
