You really need to specify what media you're talking about. The K3 and Ultrachome inks have larger gamut than any new printer on matte papers. The Canon has a larger gamut on glossy satin and the HP Z printers seem to have the smallest total gamut on glossy and matte. The gamut levels may be in flux as they come out with updates to firmware and drivers that set ink mixing for different media types so the results may change.
It's resolution where they are nearly equal not gamut, unless you mean on glossy satin where they are all somewhat acceptable. I feel the differences are huge among the printers that are on the market but the sweet spot of the market right now seems to be the ipf8000 when it comes to operational costs, up front cost, speed, gamut (glossy and matte), resolution, paper handling.
