Hi Teddy. Yeah I have tried both settings for my prints and your
right you do get different results. However my prints always seem
off in color a noticable amount reguardless of using Relative
colormetirc or Perceptual.

Reds lean towards Pink. Tan/grey backgrounds have more of a tinge of
green in them.
Im not hyper picky. It is just noticable.
I thought that either my monitor is to blame (because I cant get
100% accurate RGB settings) using gretagmacbeth Colorimeter or
the UV ink was the problem.
Remember I am printing with a Designjet 5500UV.

Any of you actually able to tune your monitor with the Colorimeter
so that its actually perfect settings? Everything Lines up?
Or are your settings off a little bit like mine are?

I am open to Monitor recomendations. or any suggestions.

Thank you guys. I really am happy to have found this group.
I was wrestling with this alone for much to long.

Best Regards,

Justin

myself. You drag and drop the file you want to print, into the RIP
queue, right?

Perceptual for the Rendering Intent, instead of Relative
Colormetric? Depending on the type of prints you are doing, this
could have some influence.
