Hi Shannon,
As you try printing larger things directly out of Corel, Illustrator
or any other app you may find that your HP stops printing at about 6
feet. (I have forgotten exactly what the dimension is) The rip in
Flexi overcomes that problem among other things. The developer of
Flexi (Scanvec Amiable) has a number of profiles available there and
many of the manufacturers have profiles for their media on their web
sites. There are alot of them for the Designjet 5500. You may still
need to do some tweaking of ink densities in Flexi. Ideally you will
eventually get a color management sytem that will allow you to
generate your own profiles, but these are quite pricey. A good place
to get advice on Flexi and many other aspects of sign-making is
