I think you will be blown away by the results if you are not expecting photo quality, as that is what this(130) will give you. I think you will be very pleased, also in the fact that this has richer blacks than the competition, and printing on matt paper or generic stock, it might be important to get dark blacks for cad drawings and such. One thing that bothers me is the roll feed system is not something you can manually adjust and set, but neither do any other comparable brands. A step up in the HP line and there are the ones that let you manual feed the machine. Enjoy!
