Hi,

I have Quark, but rarely print from it. If you cannot solve the Quark
issue, as that is what will send the job, and might be a limit on
Quark.

Either switch to InDesign, or get a Rip. If you print more than 4
or 5 proofs a day, I think the RIP is nice, as you can send the files
to the RIP, and then you can NEST them, which lets you send the files
as one job using the correct amount of space of paper and all that
with one or multiple color bars(if you mess with it enough). And you
can be assured that the colors foir CMYK are correct, as I never got
accurate CMYK colors from the 130.

I have 2 options for Quark to print...Output Job, and Print.

Print, gives me the option of a print Style. When DEvices is
highlighted on the left column,...Choices in the PPD it gives me the
color settings, I have HP 130 RIP, and a HP 30,90,130 option, besides
some generic BW and color settings including Imagesetter, AdobePDF 7.
If you highlight Color, this is the area that you might be referring
to.

I have Mode as Composite, and in the Setup, I have options of
Grayscale, Comp RGB, Comp CMYK, Comp CMYK +spot, and As Is.

I don;t know how yours is missing the other choices, Sounds like
Quark didnt install correct?

Let me know.

Although I don't use quark to print, I send the files to PDF, then
print using that.
