Hi, I am designer, working on a mac with OSX tiger, and recently purchased Quark 7.2. Previously I was using quark 5, and had perfect results from my DJ30 over the past 2yrs. ...however since this upgrade to 7.2, I have lost all the options I previously had with regards to output. I have only composite RGB with regards to colour, which produces entirely different results. I can select HP matt proofing paper, but dont have any where near the correct colour output, as I had previously.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?? do I need to purchase a £200 rip to upgrade my printer to a postscript printer?...and would this guarantee to give me the right results. It seems to me to be a quark issue, as it was fine to print out high res and colour correct in quark 5. HP tell me its a quark issue, and cant help...and vice versa from quark so called 'help desk' It's my first post on this forum, and really hoping someone out there can help.
