Yep......HP even supplies the proper size TORX screwdriver for the job. The cutter attaches to the aluminium track you can see when you look into the front of the printer. It a little plastic part which houses a round knife and it sits over on the left side while you're printing. Then when it's time to cut, the printer head travels over, grabs the cutter, and drags it over to the right side, cutting the paper in the process. Then the printer head and cutter travel back to the left and the cutter is left parked there until it's needed again.
