The problem with a set of black inks for the DJ 30/90/130 series is that only pigment grays and blacks can be had. Which brings me to my question: has anyone used the refillable MIS cartridges for these printers and put Epson or the new HP pigments in them.
You can buy large cartridges of such pigments and take out the ink and put it in the re-fillables. The only risk I see is to the printheads which are well priced at a little cheaper than an original HP cartridge. And possibly you'd have to run a print through once a week or so. If it works, and I have the word of a Chinese vendor that it does, it makes for a very economical large format pigment printing option. Because I'm running a shoestring operation, I'm the first to admit I'm too chicken to try it, (even with a Chinese vendor's blessing). Anybody??
