I think I had this printer - 9670 (duplex model) and I had 'fun' when printing in best mode under WinXP. In the end I decided not to use best - even with very small (4 and 5 point) text, there was little in it between best and normal.
I have also seen exactly these symptoms (blue being very purple and other contrast related issues), but I cannot remember if it was on my DJ1300 or 9670. Actually, come to think about it, it was at a copy shop too. However, its been a while (although sods law will make my next print have the issue) since I have seen this and it may have gone since I calibrated things. Sorry for not being more help - its more to let you know that you are not alone. -Ian Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
