I have already configured Leopard 10.5.1 to access windows shares and printers. I joined MSHOME workgroup and I can browse all windows pc's. Also, I successfully added HP Laserjet 1320 printer in Leopard.
However, I failed to add HP DesignJet 130 to Leopard. I can see it, when I browse windows printers in adding new printer, but I cannot find the appropriate driver in the "Select a driver to use ...". If I connect the printer directly using USB cable, Leopard instantaneously recognizes the printer with Driver 4.2.2. In Leopard, I also used advance option when adding new printer and choose Type "Windows" with the following URL's: smb://windows-uid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/windows-ip/hp-shared-name smb://windows-uid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/hp-shared-name smb://workgroup-name/windows-ip/hp-shared-name Leopard still neither can recognize the appropriate driver nor it lists DJ 130 in the driver list. Is there away to browse the HP Driver 4.2.2 that is recognized by USB ? or any suggestions ...
