I've had my DJ 130 for over a year now and it was the best purchase I've made 
in a printer, 
I never used the Epson 7600 but a friend of mine has the Epson 4000 and the one 
complaint he has about the printer is that if you don't use it regularly it 
will clog.
I use matte paper but not from HP I use Red River Paper Aurora Art Paper it is 
a 100% 
cotton rag, acid free and has no Optical Brighteners, I found the output to be 
very good. 
As far as longevity I coat mine using a product from Breathing Color called 
Glamour II 
Veneer.
