Hi I've got an intermittent problem with my hp130nr thats finally annoyed me enough to seek help to try and fix it.
What happens is that the printer feeds the paper in and does all its normal back and forth like its about to start printing then it just turns off! it doesn't matter whether i pre-load the roll, what type of roll, whether i send to print before or after the roll is fed in, there seems to be absolutely no pattern. Today was a prime example: turn printer on, send the file to the printer, load the paper and it prints fine. an hour later send the same file again and I finally gave up to write this after 8 failed attempts. Sometimes it works first time and i can print of a dozen A1 posters without a problem other times it'll work after 2 failed attempts. I never get any error patterns on restart (I have upgraded the firmware) The ONLY thing that I noticed a while back was that I'm sure there always used to be a green light on the roll feed on the back, now the light isn't there.
