Dino, As far as I am aware the roller marks that all the chatter was about are indentations caused by leaving roll paper loaded and are present on my printer about 2" from the leading edge.
ISTR that there was a fix whereby you can adjust the roller pressure to stop it happening or just push the unload button if you are going to leave the printer for an extended period which avoids the problem entirely. Alternatively you can push the stop button a couple of times on units with a cutter fitted to cut off the first couple of inches where the marks appear. There should not be a line of marks on a print unless there is a problem with the printer.
