Hahnemuhle uses GretagMacbeth (now XRite) ProfileMaker software to create their profiles, HP uses something else (read not as good). I would be much more confident in your results using the Hahn profiles, both because they're aimed at the correct paper and I know the profile creating software is top rate. Don't get hung up with gamut volume, it's another tag inside the profile and can be exaggerated. Let your eyes be the judge; however, realize that the gamut on any fine art paper is going to be smaller than something done on rc (glossy/semi-gloss) surfaces, mostly because the blacks and dark colors are less dense.
