Morning John,

hey what i can say.. i still use test prints for all my work to get
the best results that i like...

basically first of all CS3 is not the best joice to print!

i got qimage as a print program to print my cs files...

but... 2nd... about colormanagement...

if you choose to print on a hp glossy paper the gammut is pretty
large specially with maximum detail.

so i mmostly use absolute colorimatic for the prints. uncheck
blackpoint compensation, if ps doesnt do it automatically with this
setting.

you can use the soft proof function of ps prior to printing to see if
it will work.. most of the time the contrasts are better then
relative with this media...

enjoy!
