If it unpacks properly there should be no abnormal risk involved in 
the update, all DNJs with HDD based FW are "fairly" safe, though I 
always recommend a direct connection via X-over cable.
If you want to make sure, call HP, get a ticket ID ask them if its 
OK, if something goes wrong you'll have an easier time squeazing a 
new formatter out of them.
