I have a updates for the FreeBSD support.
I've been unable to push through the driver updates that will allow
correct select() usage to prevent IO from blocking as the main USB
guru is away right now. Hopefully I can get someone to apply my ugen
driver changes to the FreeBSD CVS soon.
On a better note I've added support for FreeBSD 4.x that uses gcc
2.95. The patches are in the linked tarball. These changes should
be merged into the FreeBSD ports tree in the next week or two.http://am-productions.biz/docs/hplip.tgz So if possible merge as many of the patch changes as possible, and I'll keep on working on getting the driver changes committed so IO doesn't block. Also make sure to look at the Makefile for the replace logic to fix-up various configure and make files.
