What Aaron said. Aaron printed your test document on a couple of lasers here. The lightest shading area in the bottom picture was invisible, otherwise, the rest was reasonable. We seem to be losing some info when converting the incoming 24-bit RGB data to 1-bit black/white data. Raghu
