Hi Aaron,

This is definitely not a hardware/toner issue. I am constantly having to
reboot my box to windows just to print because the greyscales are so bad
in HPLIP that I can't even read documents that have non-black
text...same printer, same computer, same toner, different drivers
windows HP-driver, and Linux-HPLIP-ppd+CUPS. There is definitely
something wrong with the hplip driver.

I would like to send you some hardcopies so you can really see what I'm
talking about. Would you please send me your snail-mail (work) address?
