Hi, I was trying to install the hplip driver under ubuntu 6.06, and the installation failed because of the required dependency libjpeg. It appears that Ubuntu installs the libjpeg62 package instead of the libjpeg package, and the installer does not recognize the libjpeg62 package as fulfilling the dependency. -Philip
