That's true, any new URI/device plugged in after a CUPS restart/SIGHUP
would not be seen by CUPS 1.1.x. But, this issue is independent of the
HPLIP update. Seems to me reseting/SIGHUP for CUPS 1.1.x would be "new
URI/device" dependent not "HPLIP update" dependent. Of coarse this is
not a problem with CUPS 1.2.
