OK. I'll wait. I thought that film scanning is supported because there is an
earlier message which says:

   Film scanning should work I believe. Are you having a specific problem?
   What printer?

After that there is just a reply that message, but nothing about film scanning
not  working.

I guess that film scanning is not a simple thing to add and it means more work
than just simply adding an option which turn on the transparency light.
