Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the suggestions. When I run hp-sendfax, the HP device manager opens 
up, and I can choose a recipient and add a cover page, but when I try to 
browse to add a file to fax, I'm unable to add the file to the send list. 
When I click on the send fax button, I get a message that says "The CUPS 
queue for 'newofficejet_fax' is in a stopped or busy state. Please check the 
queue and try again." So then I open the CUPS interface, make sure the 
printer has been started, and try to fax again, without luck. Other than 
this, hplip works great--I can check the ink levels, print, scan etc from 
both computers on my network.
