Mark,I've tested the Photosmart 3310 extensively. I'm thinking that perhaps your install did not complete successfully. If possible go to the hplip tar ball directory and run make uninstall, then rm -rf /usr/share/hplip and then reinstall using the instructions at
http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/step2/index.htmlAnd just to be sure I verified that the 3310 works over eth with the latest release.
