Hi, I use hplip 1.6.6a on a Fedora Core 5 machine. Setting up with hp-setup works well, the only problem being that their is not a PPD file for HP 3390 printer. But I select one of the others and all works well. I name the printer and fax queues exactly that, printer and fax
Now the problems: I I restart the computer it loses the printer queue, but not the fax queue. Running hp-setup again allows me to setup the printer queue which now no longer exists, but fails to setup the fax queue as it exists. Recently after operating for a length of time the queue again disappeared, this time unrelated to a reboot. I trust someone can help me. As this is getting infuriating.
