I am using Slackware 10.2, but I think the problem is not there. I have discovered that hp-tools tells that there is a problem in usb connection. It is very strange because hp-align correctly prints its test-page.
I like to be able to check the user space usb-driver that HLIP uses to comunicate with usb-printers. Can you help me? Do you know if the usblib generates logs? Thank you for your time.
