Checking for dependency 'reportlab (Reportlab - PDF library for Python)'... error: Not found! Checking for dependency 'ppdev (ppdev - Parallel port support kernel module.)'... error: Not found! Checking for dependency 'lsb (LSB - Linux Standard Base support)'... error: Not found! (It's a bit difficult to send the whole thing as an attachment as I don't send mail from the system where HPLIP is installed). The system doesn't have a parallel port so not having ppdev isn't surprising. > Make sure that your printer us using the hp:/ backend and not the usb > backend. > That's the issue I suspect, what I'm not sure about is *how* to get the printer to use the hp:/ backend. It's not a USB printer, it's on an Axis (i.e. standard Unix type) of print server on my network. -- Chris Green ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
