Paolo,
Seems like there is something not playing nice on your
system..possible to remove hplip, make sure all the dependencies are
installed, and try to reinstall?
Aaron
Done. No way..
I had another problem in the meanwhile: I (probably) upgraded net-snmp's
package, and hpiod couldn't find something like /usr/lib/libnetsnmp.so.10. I
had /usr/lib/libnetsnmp.so.15, so I tried to solve the problem linking
/usr/lib/libnetsnmp.so.10 to /usr/lib/libnetsnmp.so. It works: hpiod runs
and i can scan/print/... again. Unfortunately, I'm still not able to fax by
the pc. May it be a similar problem, like a file missing? Maybe something i
can solve just with another link?
Thanks!
