Hello from germany
I spent many hours yet by trying to install the newest version of HPLIP 1.6.12
on Ubuntu 6.06 to get my new HP deskjet D2360 to work.
Many files were missed and i installed them step by step.
with one excepton: libcupsys.
I read the mails before, that just libcupsys2 had to be installed, and then the
HPLIP install programm should work.
But libcoupsys2 IS DEFINATELY installed, but the setup programm breaks always
at the same situation:

The last message (german) means, libcupsys2 is already installed.
What can i do to get the driver worked?
I searched the web for a "libcupsys-file without the "2" but cant find it, not
on debian and not on ubuntu.
What can I just do to get this thing to work?
