hp-setup and hp-probe primarily use SLP on port 427. There is an option
w/hp-probe to use mDNS, which uses port 5353. See hp-probe --help for how to
activate mDNS.

Hello!
The LAN printer discovery during configuration works fine with inactive
firewall. Which protocols/ports do I have to open to make it work with the
firewall in an active state? I tried it with SNMP, but this is apparently
the wrong protocol.
Thanks for any help,
Henning
