Hi.. I've noticed that if I scan some text at 200dpi in full colour mode, and then zoom in 400%, I can see JPEG compression artifacts around the letters.
How can I turn this off? I'm trying to scan an agarose gel for my biology class, and these artifacts are messing up my results. I have an HP psc 2175 all-in-one machine, with Fedora 6 and hplip-1.6.12-1.fc6.
