What exactly do you try to download? I'm not sure YaST has to do anything with HPLIP, unless you try to install the experimental package Johannes provides. In the latter case, he has detailed information poted to this list quite often. If you want to download and install what the HPLIP project offers you download either the tar file or the .run file and follow the instructions.
