Are you able to print in landscape mode with any other applications?
you could also try using lpr to print the page.
an example of the command would be (this should work):
lpr -PPrinter_Name -o landscape filename.pdf
You can get the Printer_Name by running hp-check. Maybe something Like,
LaserJet_4050, etc.
