Please check your printer option settings (localhost:631/printers)
Are you able to print the testpage from either cups or HP Device
Manager?

My HP PSC 1315 appears to be printing perfectly, except that no ink is
released onto the page; however, the automatically printed alignment
page has ink, so the mechanism should be fine.

hp-check returns all OK.
