Hi,
I run Ubuntu 7.04 and I have am fighting to print with my HP deskjet
3653. I have followed the instructions described at
http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/index.html (both for automatic and
manual installation). Every time I install hplip I am able to print and
everything seems to be working fine. When I reboot and try to send a
page to the printer nothing happens. If I check the printer status I see
the message "Printing: open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds...".
I attach my hp-check.log file after the last reboot (before rebooting
printer was working).
Any idea of what is going wrong?
