Alex, Cc'ing hpx-users again. You might want to send your response there for others to chime in.
> I've seen this page before. I'm interested in "Augment csv Files". This is a relatively simple (in terms of coding) project which however requires some digging into the existing code to understand what's going on and what's missing. > "Newtonian physics sandbox" is pretty good, because I have a clear > understanding of physics stuff. Let's hope they will respond on hpx-users. > Also I can pick "Implement a Plugin Mechanism for Thread schedulers". I > had a course of parallel calculations. We touched MPI, openmp, pthreads, > but I think I got only basic skills. We already have two students looking into the plugin mechanism, it is probably a good idea to select something else. > Some projects relate with MPI is good > for me, but I need to understand what level of parallel skills are > expected from me? HPX is a parallel runtime system. So almost everything we do relates to parallelism in the first place. You might want to have some basic understand of parallelism and the willingness to understand more.
