Have you looked at what we have already done for some of the algorithms (https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/tree/master/hpx/parallel/container_algorithms)? Would you be comfortable in doing similar things for some of the remaining ones?

Hello. I'd like to participate in the GSoC. But I don't have any practice
in the distribted computing and multithreading. At the current time I'm
reading "Williams - Concurrency in action". Could you tell, please, do I
have any chances in the project "Work on parallel algorithms for HPX"?
We have plenty of work to be done for adapting the existing parallel
algorithms to a range based interface (see
https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/issues/1668 for which algorithms still
need work). This does not require any experience in parallel computing,
however you'll need to be able to work with C++, templates, and some meta
programming.

I can't say anything related to your chances as this depends entirely on the
quality of your proposal you have to submit through the GSoC site. Note also
that the deadline for this is March 25th 1900UTC. We have a template for
