I be begeistert ( sorry to know know the right word in english). > @Fredt: > whats about to set supportsIntegrityEnhancementFacility() to true? > because with this OOo use the Reference Integrity. and next point: I can create a Foreign Key without using a .... Constraint <constraint-name> .... when I create a table. If I try a ALTER TABLE, I have to type ALTER TABLE mytable ADD CONSTRAINT myconstraintname FOREIGN KEY ... OOo don´t send a ADD CONSTRAINT, beause in the SQL92-Spec this is optional and should go without this. If you can change this, I think hsqldb is one of the best Databases to work with OOo. And hsqldb has a GUI. Have you ever tried OOo? again, hsqldb looks really great now!!! -- mfg Hermann Kienlein ------------------------------------------------------------------- EDV-Systeme Kienlein FON: +49-9184-80040 Pfarrer-Zinckel-Str. 10 FAX: +49-9184-80041 D-92364 Deining http://www.kienlein.com ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The debugger for complex code.
