Using ht://Dig 3.2.0b5 on Mandrake 9.2 The start_ellipses and end_ellipses have no positive effects for me.
I used a config file from ?3.1, that worked for that release. I then tried getting clever and removed "..." and tried "…". That had the interesting effect that searches (seemed, not quantified) to take between two and five minutes. The config data still seemed ignored. Changing back to "..." resulted in 'instant' searches (but still ignoring my config data).
