It's better to merge smaller databases into larger ones than the other
way around, to avoid rebuilding the larger database record by record.
I'd merge dba into dbc, then dbc into dbb if I didn't care about keeping
the originals, otherwise I'd copy dbb and merge the other two, one at a
time (in either order) into the copy.
