Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't ht://dig turn all urls to
lower-case when indexing? In looking at some of your urls below there are
capital letters in some of the urls (e.g. the NALS directory) which are not
accessible by inputting lowercase versions of the same url. If the problem
is that ht://dig doesn't preserve the caps in the url string, you may have
to enable mod_speling to make the server more forgiving on incorrect urls.

Subject: [htdig] HTDIG not recursing through directories...
Greetings.
I have been beating my head against a wall for a little over
an hour now. I found nothing in the mailing list archives of
use to me. I run 'htdig' on my site but it does not appear to
be recursing down through all of my pages. I have verified that
the pages at each level have URL references to pages at the
next level. I hacked my 'htdig.conf' file and explicitly
specified the first couple of directory levels like so:
# The URL(s) where htdig will start. See also limit_urls_to above.
start_url: http://www.realitydiluted.com/
http://www.realitydiluted.com/projects
http://www.realitydiluted.com/projects/nino
This helped, but there are still a bunch of pages below the 'nino'
directory that are not being indexed. I have read through the
documentation and I am missing something extremely basic. Thanks
in advance.
