Individual files (.doc ,pdf) can be indexed via external parsers, but they
have to have a link to them when indexing via web access.
If you are running the indexer (htdig) on the same machine as where the
files to be indexed are, you can index them via the local files indexing
mechanism. Read the FAQ and the configuration options file.
