I take if from the silence that no one had any.  Did you try htdig -vvv
to see what sort of headers htdig gets back from the http server?  3.2
is supposed to use the current date/time when it doesn't get a Last-Modified
header from the server, so I'm at a loss to explain why this is happening
for you.
