How can I set up 3.1.5 to index two realms in the same domain using
different setups and then have results in a search appear merged (i.e. as
if from the same undistinguishable domain).
Specifically, I have normal pages on an Apache server, and cgi pages on an
Apache server and other pages in a proxy cache with its own server on the
same host. The first need to be indexed using certain rules (this works
now), and the cgi and the proxy cache need to be indexed with much care
(to avoid loops and useless pages being indexed). The result should be
accessible in a simple search form (without distinction between the
searched realms).
Also, how could I qualify cgi pages as cgi. I was thinking of embedding a
META keyword in the cgi generator, one for each division. Is there another
way ? The purpose is to be able to narrow the search by ticking a box
marked 'proxy', 'cgi' etc in the search form.
thanks,
Peter
