See http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q1.16 According to adele zhou: > When I typed /opt/www/htdig/bin/rundig, everything > seems ok. But when I typed rundig in > /usr/htdig-3.1.5/installdir/ it said > ./rundig: @BIN_DIR@/htdig: No such file or directory > ./rundig: @BIN_DIR@/htmerge: No such file or directory > ./rundig: @BIN_DIR@/htnotify: No such file or > directory > I don't know how this comes. The version of rundig in installdir is the uninstalled version. The "make install" installs the copy you should be running, changing the strings of @BIN_DIR@ to the value set for BIN_DIR in your configuration. You shouldn't be running anything directly from installdir. > By the way, after I tyed /opt/www/htdig/bin/rundig, > nothing comes out...Is it all right? I am a new one on > that...Can you give me some suggestion? Yes, rundig normally runs quietly, so it can be run from a cron job. If you want more feedback, run "rundig -v", or use -s, or both -v -s. -- Gilles R. Detillieux E-mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Spinal Cord Research Centre WWW: http://www.scrc.umanitoba.ca/~grdetil Dept.
